Sonderwell is recruiting experienced Registered Nurses s to join our Rapid-Response team. You will work as part of a small elite team who will support vulnerable people with health care needs at the start of their journey with Sonderwell.
Fiona is a Paediatric Nurse Specialist and clinical lead on safe guarding. She has been a crucial member of the team since joining Sonderwell.
A career in care
“I have been a children’s nurse for 22 years and trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital and specialised in oncology and bone marrow transplants. I did this for 4 years but, I decided I needed more general medical knowledge, so was recruited to work at a number of different hospitals across the UK before I was lucky to obtain a job at the special care baby unit at Eastbourne.
Following many other roles since, I decided to join Sonderwell to continue my career in care and share my skills with new adults and children.”
Able to assess all needs
“I am lucky enough to work with both adults and children which gives me a variety of specialities. Having spent the majority of my career with children, Sonderwell has given me the opportunity to work across more age groups, expand my knowledge, provide essential training in specialist cases like spinal cord injury which I am now able to teach to new team members.”
